Welcome to Plot. By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Plot. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate profile information and to keep it up to date. You may not impersonate another person or create multiple accounts.

3. How Plot Works

Plot is a dating platform where users post date ideas ("plots") and others apply to join. Users can browse, apply, match, and chat with other users. An AI assistant ("Cupid") is available for date planning suggestions.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post offensive, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Spam, scam, or mislead other users
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity
• Collect or harvest other users' personal information
• Use automated tools to access the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, videos, text). By posting content on Plot, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it within the app for the purpose of operating the service. You can delete your content at any time.

6. Subscriptions

Plot offers optional paid subscriptions ("Plot Verified") that provide additional features including a verified badge, unlimited browsing, and full chat access.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly at $12.99/month through Apple's App Store
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

7. Safety

Plot provides safety features including user reporting, blocking, and respect scoring. However, we cannot guarantee the behavior of other users. When meeting someone in person, always meet in public places, tell a friend your plans, and use your best judgment.

8. AI Assistant

Plot includes an AI assistant ("Cupid") that provides date planning suggestions. Cupid's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are for entertainment and informational purposes. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

10. Disclaimer

Plot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that you will find a match. We are not responsible for the actions or behavior of other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

12. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings within the app. Upon deletion, all your personal data, profile content, posts, and messages will be permanently removed.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
